Silicone Building Sealant

Homey 200 Silicone Building Sealant is a one part neutral cure construction grade silicone sealant that easily extruded in any weather. It cures at room temperature with moisture in the air to produce a durable, flexible silicone rubber seal.

Cut seal on top of cartridge. Screw on nozzle and cut the nozzle at 45°angle to the desired shape and size. For better appearance cover outside of joint areas with masking taps before application. Tool immediately after sealant application and remove masking tape before sealant skins.

Clean all grease, dirty, water, klunky sealant from surface, accessories and protective coatings and any pollutant left inside joints and sunken parts. For best results wipe all surfaces with Homey cleaner, methylated spirits or acetone, use a lint free cloth, then wipe again with a dry lint free cloth. Detergent or soap water treatments are not recommended.

Incompatibility of glazing materials can lead to sealant discoloration and/or loss of adhesion. To help protect against these problems and to ensure compatibility, HOMEY will also test and provide information on the compatibility of accessory materials (gaskets, spacers, etc.) and other HOMEY Silicone sealants.

1. Do not use in structural application.
2. Do not use when substrate temperature is above 50℃ or surfaces that are wet, oily, greasy, dusty or dirty.  
3. Do not use for painted surfaces, otherwise may cause seal failure as the paint cracking or paint stripping.
4. Do not use for sub-graded application, confined space or surfaces that require post finishes or paintings.  
5. Do not clean or treat the sealant with materials, solvents or cleaning agents that may affect or discolor the sealant, particularly during sealant cure.
6. Not for permanent or continuous water immersion.
7. Not intended for food-contact applications.

Uncured silicone can irritate eyes and skin. If contact is made with eyes, flush with water for 15 minutes and seek medical advice. Use in well ventilated area and keep out of reach for children.
